VEHICLE TO GRID (V2G): YOUR CAR AS A POWER STATION
Most people think of an EV as something that needs charging. The next generation of EVs and chargers can do the opposite — send power from your car's battery back into your home, or even back to the grid, earning you money in the process.
This is called Vehicle to Grid, or V2G. A modern EV battery holds 60–100kWh of energy — significantly more than most home battery systems. With a V2G-compatible setup, your car becomes the largest battery in your home energy ecosystem.
