Twilight Energy is a participant in the Federal Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program
The Australian Government will provide a 30% discount on eligible small-scale battery systems for households and small businesses, based on usable capacity and tapering off by 2030. This helps store clean solar energy when needed and lowers overall energy costs by reducing reliance on gas generation and grid infrastructure. Discounts apply at point of sale through participating solar/battery retailers under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES), administered by the Clean Energy Regulator, with updated regulations to include batteries.

MAXIMISE SOLAR USAGE & LOWER BILLS
Solar batteries let households store excess solar energy generated during the day and use it at night or during peak tariff periods. This reduces reliance on grid electricity and can save up to $2,300 annually for new solar setups, or $1,100 for existing solar users adding a battery. You can also join a VPP and be paid by a retailer for supporting the grid.
